On 3rd August 2025, the grand ballroom of Hotel Royal Tulip, Kharghar in Navi Mumbai became a vibrant hub of collaboration as the CardioDiabetes Synergy Symposium (CDSS) 3.0 unfolded under the leadership of Course Director Dr. Anand Hinduja, Consultant Physician, Aarti Clinic ®.
With the motto “Synergy in Science, Unity in Purpose, Power in Care”, the event reaffirmed its role as a premier platform uniting cardiology, diabetology, nephrology, and internal medicine experts for a common cause — improving patient outcomes in cardio-metabolic care.
CDSS 3.0: A Seasonal Blueprint for Care
In a creative departure from traditional conference formats, CDSS 3.0 was structured around four masterclasses inspired by the seasons, each symbolising a phase in the patient journey:
Spring – Emergence & early interventions, highlighting optimal therapy choices and new-generation insulins.
Summer – Peak performance & therapeutic synergy, tackling acute care challenges and combination treatment strategies.
Autumn – Transitions & disease progression, focusing on cardiorenal protection and acute coronary syndromes in diabetes.
Winter – Critical care & innovation, addressing advanced disease stages and novel therapies like renal denervation.

CardioDiabetes Synergy Symposium 3.0: Engaging Formats, Practical Takeaways
CDSS 3.0 stayed true to its promise of being “not your typical medical conference.”
Long lectures gave way to Synergy Dialogues — case-based discussions where faculty shared real-world problem-solving approaches — and Synergy Quests, lively quiz segments that kept energy high. Delegates were active participants, not passive listeners, ensuring that learning could be applied in practice the very next day.

Eminent Faculty, Unified Purpose
The faculty roster read like a who’s who of the medical field, with experts such as Dr. Vijay Negalur, Dr. Rajiv Karnik, Dr. Behram Pardiwala, Dr. S.M. Bandukwala, Dr. Zakia Khan, Dr. Rahul Gupta, Dr. Atul Ingale, and Dr. Nasir Fulara delivering concise, evidence-based updates. Their collective expertise, grounded in daily clinical practice, resonated strongly with the audience.

Closing on a Collaborative Note
The symposium ended with closing remarks from Dr. Hinduja, who reminded participants:
“Our patients’ health journeys pass through seasons of change — our learning must follow the same rhythm.”
A networking lunch followed, sparking cross-specialty conversations and planting seeds for future collaborations.
CardioDiabetes Synergy Symposium 3.0 aka CDSS 3.0 not only delivered high-quality medical education but also demonstrated that with creativity, interaction, and a spirit of unity, complex science can be made engaging, memorable, and directly relevant to everyday practice.

About CardioDiabetes Synergy Symposium (CDSS)
Under the banner of Wellness Anchor Foundation, the CardioDiabetes Synergy Symposium (CDSS) has emerged as one of the region’s most impactful academic platforms. Started on 18th August 2024, this initiative is hosted twice a year to bring together leading cardiologists, diabetologists, physicians, nephrologists, and other specialists.
What began as an experiment in clinical synergy has now grown into a movement.
- CDSS 1.0 laid the foundation by bridging medical disciplines that often work in silos.
- CDSS 2.0 deepened the exchange with evidence-based insights and practical wisdom.
- CDSS 3.0 (the current edition) reflects maturity and momentum, highlighting the importance of convergence in managing cardio-metabolic complexities.
The symposium is not just about new scientific updates, but about what truly works in real-world practice. Each edition is designed as a day of discovery, with masterclasses, clinical pearls, and collaborative discussions aimed at improving patient outcomes.

With each passing edition, CDSS continues to embody its vision: Breaking silos, building synergy, and empowering doctors to deliver better care for patients facing the dual burden of cardiac and diabetic challenges.
